A Treatment For Chronic Pain

myoActivation® is a treatment approach to identify the causes of and treat chronic pain.

A lifetime of injuries, surgeries and traumas can cause altered biomechanics, which can result in chronic pain.

It is important to know that the site of pain is often not the source of pain. For instance, lower back discomfort commonly originates from muscles in a state of sustained contraction in the abdominal wall, rather than the back itself.

At Azu Health, myoActivation is billable as a physiotherapy service.

Through myoActivation we can unravel the multiple contributing factors to chronic pain, improve how you move and improve or resolve your pain.

Assessment

Taking a detailed history and assessing movements to determine the most problematic areas.
