Physiotherapists are experts in evaluating and improving movement and function.
Physiotherapy plays an important role in reducing pain and restoring function in a range of conditions. Following a detailed assessment, problem areas are identified and appropriate treatment and exercises are provided. The goal is not only to resolve pain but also to prevent recurrence and improve overall health by addressing underlying causes such as muscle weakness/imbalance, tight tissues, biomechanics, and lifestyle habits.
Your treatment may include manual therapy (hands on treatment). Soft tissue massage can relieve tender muscles, release tight tissues, and decrease pain. Joint mobilizations are gentle movements used to improve range of motion of a joint, decrease stiffness, and improve pain.

It is safe and can be used to reduce pain, promote the healing process and improve mood and well-being. Acupuncture may be used as part of your Physiotherapy treatment.
Vestibular Rehabilitation
Do you experience dizziness, vertigo, unsteadiness or balance problems?
Vestibular rehabilitation can help. It is an exercise-based approach to relieve the symptoms of vestibular disorders. Following your assessment, you will be given an individualized home exercise program. A simple series of head movements in clinic can resolve the symptoms of benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV). A referral from your doctor is recommended.
Active Rehabilitation
We offer one-on-one exercise programs focused on recovery following injury or surgery.
